- george ku Added September 22, 2023★ ★ ☆ ☆ ☆very deep into the forest. The cottage owner is racist. If you are a foreigner especially chinese, I reccomend that you go somewhere. Dont give them your credit card, they would do anything they like. I visited there and during my check out, I pass the room keys to the office. At that time, my phone was off. When I eventually turn on my phone, they left a message on my phone saying that they havent received the key and will charge AUD50 to my credit card. I explained so hard but she insisted that I stole their card. At the end, AUD 50 was deducted from my account.
I strongly recommend you to drive slightly further to one place called Beacon point cottage at Appollo Bay. The view there is fantastic. Right at the top of the hill. - Debbie Jarratt Added September 09, 2023★ ★ ★ ★ ★All cottages are individually owned now. Check them out on AirBNB. My favourite is Bonnie Doon. Comfy accommodation in a quiet, scenic location in the bush. Even has sea views. 5 minutes drive from the Lorne main street and beach.
- Ivan Higgins Added September 07, 2023★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I think this place is alright. Except the road to the cottages were extremely dangerous. Price a bit high. They advertise that will be able to see cockatoos and parrots there, but the whole time that I am there, I never see a single bird. Female Receptionist was not too polite.
